Handmade experience at a long-established jewelry store
A store specializing in handmade rings produced by KAMATA, one of Japan's leading jewelry brands with a 95-year history. The shop offers a variety of courses, from full-scale rings such as wedding and engagement rings to a simple course that allows customers to create silver accessories in about 60 minutes. The “Pair Ring Course,” which is very popular among visitors to Japan, allows customers to create their own one-of-a-kind silver ring by pounding the metal into a ring shape and adding patterns. The staff all have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and the after-sales service is excellent, as only a long-established company can provide. A wide range of sizes are available, from 1 to 30, so even men from overseas can feel at ease.
One-person experiences are also available. Many families make matching rings to commemorate their trip.
There are five textures, including “hammer,” which produces an uneven geometric pattern, and “glass,” which is linear.
The ring is heated to soften it, and then beaten, polished, and lettered to the desired design.
