A petting zoo in Port Island, a town of the sea, celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The theme of this zoo is "Flowers, Animals, and Humans Living Together." About 70% of the exhibits are indoor recreations of African wetlands and tropical forests, and there are no cages or fences, so you can experience animals living freely up close. There are many events such as camel riding experience and feeding experience.

The exhibit recreates a large marshland in South America, the capybara’s habitat. You cannot take your eyes off the capybaras, who spend their free time resting in the shade of trees or swimming in the pond! Feeding is also available (100 yen per treat).
Although most people have the image of a motionless gerbil, Bongo (a male) and Marimba (a female), who live in the Animal Kingdom, are surprisingly active. Their large wings make for a powerful sight as they fly!
This area is home to a family of the cute little otters with round eyes. You can watch them hunt, sunbathe, and spend time in a carefree environment.
A variety of birds, including parakeets and falcons, will show off their hunting and unique habits. The number of bird species appearing has increased, as well as new performances!
