World's Largest Aquarium for the World's Seas
It is one of the largest aquariums in the world, with 30,000 creatures of about 620 species. It reproduces the natural environment of the area surrounding the Pacific Ocean, and you can encounter different creatures in each tank. It takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. From the evening onwards, it changes into a fantastic "Night Kaiyukan". The photo shows the world's largest fish, whale shark, seen in the Pacific tank.
