A dreamlike place with a glimpse of the time of the settlement Visit Glover Garden

Minamiyamate Hill, where traces of foreign merchants who came to Nagasaki at the end of the Edo period and during the Meiji era still remain. Glover Garden is the collective name given to three Important Cultural Properties as well as six relocated and reconstructed buildings dotted around Nagasaki City. The Important Cultural Properties are the Former Glover Residence, the Former Ringer Residence, and the Former Alt Residence. You can enjoy not only a stroll in the park, but also the spectacular view from the top of the hill.

Park Tour
Free scheduled tours by the park’s historical tour guide are also popular. (Guided tours are available from 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00 daily except in bad weather, etc.). Those who wish to join the tour should go to the first floor of the former Mitsubishi No. 2 Dock House to complete necessary procedures.

Night opening hours are available during the Golden Week period from April 27th to May 5th 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM (last admission at 8:10 PM), and during the summer season from July 20th to October 9th 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM (last admission at 9:10 PM).
