Temple where valuable Buddhist statues are enshrined

The temple was founded by Giku Shonin in 1227. The principal image is a statue of Shaka Nyorai by Gyokai, while the Reiho-den has wooden statues of the Ten Great Disciples by Kaikei and statues of Roku Kannon Bosatsu by Jokei. Based on the name 'Okamezuka,' it is said to bring good luck in marriage, marital harmony and pregnancy.
