Colorful sliding door paintings depicting the life of Ono no Komachi
It is said to be the place where Ono no Komachi, a female writer of the Heian period, spent the rest of her life. The four sliding door paintings depicting Ono no Komachi’s life are also noteworthy.

It was painted in 2009 by the two-person art unit Daruma Shoten. The four panels depict Ono no Komachi from her birth to her courtly days and her later years.
