Hidden sights of autumn leaves
It was built in 770 at the imperial order of Emperor Konin. It is famous for the lotus and hydrangea that decorate the grounds in early summer. Maple and maple trees usually change color between late November and early December. The picture shows the three-storied pagoda and bell tower, which are designated as important cultural properties by Kyoto Prefecture. The contrast with the autumn leaves is wonderful.
