Dynamic and energetic paintings

Since the end of the Heian period (794-1185), the Imperial family and regents have served as chief priests at this monzeki temple for generations. The sliding doors of the guest hall, called Kachoden, are decorated with dynamic lotus paintings.

[Lotus - Blue Illusion / Hymn to Life / Paradise]
It was created by Hideki Kimura, a wall painter based in Kyoto. He paints vividly using acrylic ganache and Neocolor.
