Collaboration of large stones and autumn leaves

The temple originated in 1605 when the palace and garden of Fushimi Castle were relocated. The garden with its magnificent large stones is decorated with bright red autumn leaves in autumn.
The picture shows the north garden of Karesansui. It retains almost the original form from the time when it was relocated from Fushimi-jo Castle.
