There are questions to your heart throughout the mysterious garden

A Rinzai sect Myoshin-ji school Zen temple that was founded in 1450 by Hosokawa Katsumoto, an influential person in the Muromachi bakufu. When Queen Elizabeth II made an official visit to Japan in 1975, she praised the rock garden of Karesansui, which gained worldwide recognition. It is uncertain when the rock garden was built, who made it, and what its purpose was, and there are many speculations that it is a mysterious garden. The 15 stones in the rock garden are designed so that you can't see all the stones from any angle. The intention is to see with the eyes of the heart.
