A creative Japanese sweets shop located in the north side of Gion
Located near Yasaka Shrine, this shop creates revolutionary Kyoto confectionery. Fruit daifuku uses the most delicious seasonal fruits of the season, such as grapes,
pears, tangerines and apples. Fruits change with the seasons.
The photo shows Gion Pocchiri Mixed Fruit Daifuku, a sweet bean cake with strawberries, grapes, chestnuts, bananas, and blueberries wrapped in thick whipped cream and sweet and sour amaou strawberry red bean paste, inspired by the gorgeous obi-dome ‘Pochochochi’ of maiko.
