Eel dishes with traditional Japanese eel and traditional techniques
Located in Maruyama Park with its beautiful scenery, the restaurant serves unaju (eel stew) and unadon (bowl of rice topped with eel) using domestically produced eel. The eel is made using traditional techniques and is covered with the aroma of charcoal fire, making it crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Eel-jyu (pictured above) comes with one eel and costs 6,800 yen, which is also a good value for money. It comes with soup, pickles, and Uzak (vinegared eel and cucumber).
