“Arashiyu” is a healing spot that combines the Japanese cultural tradition of footbaths with photogenic effects, aroma, and music. Drop in between sightseeing to rest your weary feet.
At "Gion Bettei", which opened in February 2024, you can enjoy footbath cafe and foot massages, within walking distance from popular spots such as Yasaka Shrine. “Hyakka Ryoran” plan, which combines digital art and footbaths, is available only at this store.
Four types of footbaths that are pleasing to the eye are available, including “Miyabi” with colorful flowers floating in a hinoki tub and “Nagomi” with bath salts that look like powdered green tea. Drinks and tea sweets are included.
You can receive a massage from the soles of your feet to your calves by a therapist. Try the hot stone massage (optional extra: 550 yen), which uses heated basalt rock to relieve stiff muscles!
Experienced therapists carefully apply their unique shiatsu techniques. They approach deep into the body to reduce stiffness and fatigue.
