The Obanzai lunch of 3,300 yen (menu changes monthly), which incorporates an abundance of kyo yasai (Kyoto vegetables) and black tea, offers unique and creative dishes such as tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and sugar) made from black tea leaves.
Fresh cakes, puddings, and other sweets and drinks made at the store are also available for takeout. Take them home with a can of tea.
The machiya architecture and pop space are fused together in response to the diverse culture of Sri Lanka. The mural depicts how the store connects Sri Lanka and Kyoto.
