Museum famous for its bronze vessels renewed for more convenience.
The museum was established in 1960 to preserve and exhibit artworks collected by the Sumitomo family. In particular, the collection of ancient Chinese bronzes collected by the 15th head of the family, Sumitomo Shunsui, is world-renowned. Reopening is in April 2025.
The photo shows the hall of the Bronze Pavilion in Building No. 1, where the wheelchair lift was moved to a room with a nice view and the building was restored to its original appearance. The Bronze Museum is divided into four exhibition rooms.
