Kyoto's signature red-light district changes its look with the evening

It is a narrow street of about 500 m running from north to south between Kamogawa River and Kiyamachi, where all kinds of restaurants gather. One of the five red-light districts of Kyoto, the street is also home to the Kaburenjo Theater and tea houses. After dark, the lanterns of the restaurant line up one after another, and the atmosphere of Kyoto is full.
