Make Matcha! Abundant Selection including Kumamon Tea
Horinoen, the first to popularize deep steamed green tea in Kumamoto. In addition to delicious tea and beauty/diet healthy tea, they offer a wide range of items including original Kumamon cans and locally sourced dried shiitake mushrooms. At the authentic Japanese café Chaikou, anyone can enjoy the experience of making matcha with the “Make Matcha” activity, and participants take home the tea whisk used during the experience as a gift.
